Our Licenses and Accreditations
Multinational Investment Bancorporation was granted a Quasi-Banking (QB) license by the Central Bank of the Philippines (now Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas) in January 1974. Our QB license allows us to borrow from twenty or more lenders for the purpose of relending.
The Securities and Exchange Commission granted us an Investment House (IH) license in April 1982. Through our IH license, we are able to effectively mobilize capital funds mainly through underwriting of debt and equity issues.
We received our Trust license from the Central Bank of the Philippines in May 1991. This license permits us to offer portfolio management, escrow agency, management and trusteeship of retirement/pension funds and other trust services to the market.
In December 1981, we were accredited as a Government Security Eligible Dealer. We have since been one of the most active dealers in Treasury Bills and Treasury Notes.
