Our Licenses and Accreditations
Multinational Investment Bancorporation was granted a Quasi-Banking (QB) license by the Central Bank of the Philippines (now Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas) in January 1974. Our QB license allows us to borrow from twenty or more lenders for the purpose of relending.
The Securities and Exchange Commission granted us an Investment House (IH) license in April 1982. Through our IH license, we are able to effectively mobilize capital funds mainly through underwriting of debt and equity issues.
In December 1981, we were accredited as a Government Security Eligible Dealer. We have since been an active dealer in Treasury Bills and Treasury Notes.
